My husband and I fulfilled our dream of living in the mountains with our home in Marquartstein.
As I am originally from Essen and my husband comes from near Regensburg, the holiday apartment is also a special place for us, where our families come together again and again to spend time together in the Chiemgau region.
When the apartment is not being used by our family, we are very happy to share it with other guests.
It is important to us that you feel welcome here, arrive, take a deep breath, and truly enjoy your stay.

Please note that English is the only foreign language I speak, so communication is best in German or English. terms/extras Children up to the age of 2 stay free of charge.

Coming from Munich, we recommend taking the Bernau am Chiemsee exit.
Coming from Salzburg, take the Grabenstätt exit.
From there, you can reach the village via the B305.
An underground parking space is available for guests, making arrival convenient and comfortable even in less favorable weather.
Arrival by train and busIf you are travelling by public transport, the best option is to take the railway line from Munich via Rosenheim to Salzburg.
Suitable train stations are Übersee, Bernau am Chiemsee, Prien am Chiemsee or Traunstein.
From there, you can continue to Marquartstein by regional bus.
The nearest bus stop is Rathaus Marquartstein, served by lines 9505 and 9509.
As the best connection may vary depending on the time of day, we recommend checking the exact route again shortly before your arrival.
Arrival by planeSalzburg Airport is a convenient option for guests travelling from farther away.
By car, the journey to Marquartstein takes approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
Travelling by public transport is also possible, although it takes longer and usually requires several changes.

The adjoining dining area offers enough space for shared meals, game nights or even a small workation.
The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
This makes cooking on holiday easy and enjoyable.
The apartment has one bedroom with a comfortable double bed, as well as a sofa bed in the living area that is ideal for children or friends.
There is also a TV in the bedroom.
Both the TV in the living room and the one in the bedroom offer Netflix access and regular TV channels.
In the bedroom, there is a large sliding door wardrobe with plenty of space for clothes and luggage.
