Where you can kick back, relax and enjoy quality time with friends & family.
Enjoy nature in the clean open air, and relax in true comfort.
All thanks to the modern practical facilities within this lodge, along with its many personal touches.
Set in 11 acres of well established landscaped grounds and gardens within the elegant Kenegie Manor estate, built over 400 years ago.
Kenegie is a rare hidden gem in West Cornwall. SaltWater is located just above Mounts Bay, the largest bay in Cornwall.
At one end Porthleven, and the other Mousehole.
Mounts Bay has an accessible marine trail.
Located right in the centre of Poldark and Rosamond Pilcher country SaltWater is one of the few properties in the area that can provide you with a heated indoor swimming pool and sauna room.
Pitch and putt green.
Tennis courts.
Toddlers enclosed play area.
Picnic/ ball games area.
Small honesty convenience shop.
A laundrette, along with all the information to the local landmarks and attractions that you will need for the very best of holidays In the evenings enjoy a meal along with your favourite tipple, at The Old Forge bar and restaurant, open from 5pm.
I can personally vouch for the chefs daily specials, and his passion for quality freshly prepared dishes.
All of the above is available during the season, ( mid Feb - end of Oct).
There are very often special evenings laid on during the week.
This is all within a 2 min stroll from your door I am also one of the very few properties here that include my own high speed WiFi connection for your exclusive use.
This can be used for any home office work that maybe required during your stay Dogs love Cornwall! The property is pet-friendly, so the "whole" family can join you on your holiday! As a self-catering lodge, you'll find everything you need for your perfect stay The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, a four ring halogen hob with a full sized oven, a toaster, a kettle and a microwave.
As well as the usual array of cutlery & crockery, enough for 4 people SaltWater is the perfect place to relax, and offers a smart 40 inch television, dvd player (I provide a good selection of popular blockbuster dvds for you to enjoy).
An Alexa smart speaker, and internet access There is selection of books to immerse yourself in, as well as some local interest books, games, jigsaws and playing cards SaltWater has 2 bedrooms, and can comfortably sleep 4 adults In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed.

Bedside cabinets with lamps.
Hairdryer.
Heating The second bedroom contains two single beds.

As well as the usual bathroom facilities Outside is a patio area for your exclusive use, and I provide a seated patio table, for your al fresco dining pleasure Linen is included to make your stay more enjoyable. *Towels are not included*.
But if your require them please feel free to contact me, and for a small supplement I can always provide You will be parked a few steps from the entrance door, in a reserved space, no 3. If you arrive after dark then there is an automatic sensor light that will guide you to the key safe, and the entrance door.
Also installed is a ring doorbell that covers the carpark Arrival guide; What3Words: dwarves.digests.dusted SaltWater Lodge benefits from easy access to:- Lands End, the south west tip of mainland UK. Sennen with its fantastic surfing beaches.
St Just and its mining heritage.
Porthcurno, its beautiful beaches and of course the world renowned Minick Theatre.
Mousehole is a must visit, with walks galore.
Newlyn, the arts gallery, cinema, world famous fishing harbour.
Penzance has the longest promenade in Cornwall, at the Penzance harbour end is the Jubilee outdoor bathing Pool, and the ferry for the Isles of Scilly.
Here in Gulval are the Tremenheere Sculpture gardens, Agapanthus Tea rooms, with views out over Mounts Bay, also the Heliport for the Isles of Scilly.
St Ives the seaside hub is only 15mins away, for arts, crafts, the Tate art gallery and again such stunning beaches and scenery.
Visit the National Trusts St Michaels Mount.
Marazions sandy beaches, quaint buildings and magnificent coastal walks.
Porthleven for surfing, the enviable views, and foodies paradise.
Falmouth the maritime museum, sandy beaches, Penndenis Castle.
The Lizard Peninsula is within such easy reach Slightly further is the city of Truro, and of course the Eden Project.
One of the wonders of the modern world! There is so much more to see and do in all of this "designated area of outstanding natural beauty" Just down the road in the village is the the Coldstreamer Inn.

There is a public footpath right opposite the entrance, (just a few steps to the left - see the telegraph pole) it takes you down to the Coldstreamer in the quaint village square.
Another footpath below the Coldstreamer takes you to Tesco *SaltWater Lodge is one of two lodges adjacent to each other.
So for larger bookings please do contact me.
I can often can accommodate up to 8 guests in the two lodges { with enough notice} Public transport is not a problem.
Penzance train station is nearby, as is the Penzance bus terminal.
A taxi rank is just outside both stations.
Or SaltWater Lodge is on the Penzance to St Ives bus route.
Line 200, or line 16.
Both stop at Kenegie Manor SaltWater Lodge is lodge "no 3".
So its just inside of the entrance gate to the Manor grounds.
Even by public transport SaltWater is conveniently accessible by foot.
Just 30 meters from the drop off road Three major supermarkets are within easy reach.
Tesco, Sainsburys and Morrisions.
Lidl, Co Op and Asda express are in Penzance Checking in is via a lockbox, (code provided before arrival) House Rules: - Check-in time is from 4pm.
Check-out time is up to 10am - Smoking is not allowed inside the property - Included is free designated parking outside of the lodge, "no3".
Additional free parking is nearby, in the overflow on-site carpark -I do not supply towels - Pets are allowed at the property, 1 well behaved pet.
Not in the bedrooms please, and not on the furniture -Please do not leave your dog unattended for an extended period of time in the property - Please leave the lodge as you found it.
Ready for housekeeping to refresh for the next guests.

Please turn off the electric appliances including lights and heating when the property is vacant - Just to repeat.
Do not try and charge your EV from SaltWaters electrics.
A EV charger is in the main carpark only a minute away ** Please also note that there is often a charge for leisure facilities, payable to the on-site reception or through the site app.
