Formerly the home of one of two transmitter blocks serving RAF Ringstead during the Second World War, the Transmitter Bunker was part of the Chain Home radar, a coastal early warning system which stretched from Cornwall in the West to Norfolk in the East.

The station was commissioned in early 1941 and finally decommissioned in 1956.

The renovation has had regard for the fact that the Bunker is listed Grade-II, with the original concrete walls and other features retained.

The living areas in this single-storey property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and a slimline dishwasher, a dining area with seating for four guests and a sitting area with Smart TV and a open fire. The bedrooms consist of a twin and a bunk, along with a shower room. Outside there is a private and enclosed front patio with furniture, along with off-road parking for four cars. Within 2.2 miles you will find a shop and within 1.6 miles, a pub and please note that this is a non-smoking property. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed.
