This sun-drenched 3br/3ba tropical beach cottage centrally located by Holmes Beach in the heart of Anna Maria has been described as one of the “prettiest vacation homes on the island.” This authentic 1947 beach bungalow has been completely (and splendidly!) renovated with raised ceilings, travertine floors, and showers, granite countertops in the kitchens and baths, all new plumbing, electric, drywall, windows, doors, and appliances.

There is crown molding throughout, and every door and window is fully trimmed with rosettes. Professionally designed with contemporary furnishings and fixtures, this historic bungalow has been stylishly reimagined and glows with cottage charm, elegance and attention to detail.

Living Spaces:

This airy, open design of the kitchen/living/dining space truly makes this one-story house so inviting, enchanting and perfect for entertaining guests. The living room has warm-neutral tones, travertine tile floors, ten-foot ceilings with recessed lighting, and a beautiful tropical ceiling fan with natural palm blades. There’s a gorgeous entertainment cabinet with a granite top, and an elegant decorative bronze floor lamp.

Hues of blue and cockleshell gray are added to the sofa, armchairs, oversize divan, and seascape wall art. Tranquil, coastal ambiance best describes the feeling of this living room. Cozy up on the sofa for relaxing conversation, pleasure reading, or streaming your favorite shows or movies on the wall-mounted SmartTV. The living room sofa is a queen size sleeper.

Leading off from the main living area is a laundry room, with a full-sized LG front-loading washer and dryer. Even when you’re on vacation, the laundry never stops!

Kitchen and Dining:

The open-design kitchen has cream color French country cabinets with decorative touches, and warm earth-tone granite countertops with rounded corners. This design mimics the beauty and charm of the French countryside and fosters a comfortable environment for serious cooking.

Abundant counter space! The breakfast bar, lit by elegant glass pendant lights, offers stool seating for two. An ideal spot to sip your morning cappuccino or freshly squeezed citrus juice! This gourmet kitchen is appointed with stainless appliances including a French door fridge/freezer with icemaker, electric range, oven, microwave, oversize sink, and dishwasher. The fully equipped kitchen also has a toaster, coffee maker, Farberware pots and pans, cooking utensils, Chicago cutlery, iron and ironing board, as well as a garbage disposal unit.

The kitchen opens out to the formal dining table (nestled between the kitchen and living room). The layout of this space makes entertaining a breeze! The chef is never isolated from the social atmosphere, and mouthwatering culinary aromas will waft through the living space.

The formal, classic, hardwood oval dining table has six upholstered chairs below a simple and elegant chandelier. Fix a fresh tropical fruit salad for brunch, grill some fresh seafood for dinner or serve Cuban picadillo. Enhance the meal with grilled pineapple, guacamole, or salsa and chips. This dignified dining table is a comfortable space to gather with friends or family for dinner table conversation and vacation memories of a lifetime.

Bedrooms and Baths:

This charming, one-story beach cottage has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. Every bedroom has a spa-like ensuite bathroom. There is also an outdoor shower by the pool. Bedrooms have luxury mattresses, silent ceiling fans and large smart TVs. Bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, hairdryers, and toiletries. The cottage has whisper-quiet air conditioning, which will keep the house as cool as you like it when the sun shines, and on hot nights, ensuring you a restful sleep.

The primary bedroom has a gorgeous four-poster/sleigh-style, king-size bed, matching nightstands, elegant reading lamps, a large closet, a granite top dresser, and a 10-foot, decorative, lighted tray ceiling. The primary ensuite bathroom has a single-sink granite vanity and a custom tiled walk-in shower. Sliding glass doors from the primary suite open out to the courtyard, pool, and gardens.

Bedroom #2 has an incredible, carved, hardwood four-poster queen size bed, elegant matching nightstands and reading lamps, abundant windows, a closet, and coastal wall art. The ensuite bathroom for bedroom #2 features an extra large, single-sink granite vanity, and a custom tiled walk-in shower.

Bedroom #3 has one queen size beds, one twin bed and a night table with a reading lamp between the two beds. There’s a closet and a small bureau. The ensuite bathroom for bedroom #3 has an extra large, single-sink, granite vanity and a custom tiled walk-in shower.

Outdoor Amenities:
Outdoor amenities are the highlight of this charming tropical cottage. These outdoor amenities are your real incentive to escape to Anna Maria Island! Stroll through the French doors and into your own secluded patio paradise! Lush palms, hibiscus, frangipani, tropical trees, and shrubs planted around a heated lagoon pool invoke a Caribbean island ambiance.

The large pool has a hidden surprise that will delight the very young and the young at heart! Two deck jets arc water high into the air and three further jets bubble up from the large shallow section at one end. These fountains serve to circulate the water and provide playful fun!

There is also a 38” granite table top in the pool, surrounded by a built-in sitting area. The table sits just above the water so that a book will stay dry, while your lower body remains cool in the water. There’s even a hole in the table center for a patio umbrella, so you can stay cool while the sun is high in the sky. There’s also a hot and cold outdoor shower to clean yourself off after emerging from the ocean or pool. Who doesn’t love an outdoor shower in the fragrant, island air?

The gorgeous paver patio offers plenty of lounge chairs where you can relax with a good book, a cocktail, or simply sunbathe and nap. There’s a side courtyard with an alfresco dining table with seating for four, shaded by an umbrella, and a gas BBQ grill. Next to the alfresco dining area is a tranquil fountain feature with a waterfall and decorative pool. Such a serene spot to relax with the sounds of nature and the garden breeze!

This centrally located cottage is just a short stroll from sugar-white sand beaches and the turquoise Gulf of Mexico. Literally, 160 steps (a one-minute stroll!) to the glorious sands of Anna Maria Island’s western shore, where you can warm your toes in the sand and surf. The beaches of Anna Maria flaunt the prettiest seashells in Florida. Anna Maria is also a top US location for rare seashells.

The Neighborhood:
Swim in the turquoise Gulf of Mexico where dolphins play daily. Bring your fishing gear to cast a line off the pier, or rent a boat to get out on deep water and fish. Walk to 14 different restaurants! The prime location offers an easy stroll to boutiques, entertainment, grocery market, and pharmacy. Nearby are boat rentals, and sunset cruises, as well as jet ski, bike, paddleboard, scooter, and kayak rentals.

This seven-mile barrier island is Florida’s best-kept secret. There’s a saying here; “when you're on Anna Maria Island, you don’t go to the beach… because, on Anna Maria Island, you’re already at the beach.”

The Island in the Sun is Florida’s best-kept secret. With Gulf temperatures averaging 84 degrees and 360 days of sunshine per year the surrounding waters of AMI are known as “the nursery” because of the large number of dolphins that raise their young here.

With the island’s laid-back charm and leisurely unhurried living, speed limits are restricted to 25 mph - 35 mph throughout most of the island. This tropical paradise also offers free trolley service for both tourists and residents.

Be sure to visit Anna Maria City Pier! Built in the early 1900s, this 700-foot-long pier provides a great vantage point for watching sunrises and sunsets, bird watching, and dolphin watching, and provides views of Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. You can also fish off this pier.
