Set in a peaceful and tranquil location, this stone, converted barn combines rustic charm with modern accommodation close to the town of Penzance on the westerly tip of Cornwall. Found at the end of a winding lane the cottage is perfect for those who wish to escape their busy lives.
Admire the far reaching views from the character-filled double bedroom on the first floor.
Downstairs there is a single bedroom with vaulted beams, a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable sitting area where you can throw open the French doors and enjoy alfresco dining on the patio area within the garden.
This romantic escape enjoys countryside living and the south facing garden affords views across the moorlands and out to St Michael's Mount and the Lizard Peninsula on a clear day.
Nature lovers will enjoy rambling along the paths leading out to a rugged terrain amongst heather and moorland flowers.
For horse-riding enthusiasts, this is a perfect area for going out on a relaxing hack and if you are a horse owner, you can bring your trusty steed as there are livery facilities nearby.
The superb white sandy beaches and winding lanes of St Ives is within easy driving distance and definitely worth a visit.
Nearby Penzance is steeped in history with monuments and historic sites but also offers dramatic beaches, cliff top walks and a good selection of shops, restaurants, bars and cafés.

Boars House is a character-filled barn conversion situated down a winding lane in the Cornish countryside just outside of Penzance. The barn sleeps three people and has one double bedroom and one single bedroom. There is a shower room, a kitchen and sitting area with French doors leading to the patio. Outside there is seating on the patio and a garden area. Peace and tranquillity but just a few miles from Penzance with amenities and beaches. Boars House is an excellent choice for a family or for a couple looking for a romantic countryside holiday.

Boars House is a great holiday cottage for a family of 3. Myself, my wife and early teen son found the cottage ample sized. Well equipped and dry. Great location with a few neighbours who live here all year long. Views of the sea and the Lizard and St Michael's Mount. Short walk to the moor which has neolithic, bronze age, iron age and Roman remains. Great.

The cottage is very well equipped and in a lovely, quiet rural location. On clear days, we enjoyed the views across fields to the sea and St Michael’s Mount in the distance.
On arrival the owners a had left us a cream tea and bottle of local juice.
Really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend.
