The Old Reading Room remains one of the best cottages in Yorkshire. Plenty to keep you occupied including National Trust properties and the coastal towns. Bettys in York for a fabulous afternoon tea and the Coach House at Middleton Tyas for a succulent evening meal.

Very nice stay for one week in early August. Perfect location to visit the surrounding cities of York, Durham, Ripon as well as coastal towns such as Whitby.
