Only a few kilometers away is the cozy harbor ambience in Skælskør, from where you can take a boat trip on the Skælskør Fjord and the Great Belt. Within easy reach you can also visit the pretty islands of Omø and Agersø by ferry from Stigsnæs.

Local attractions also include the Viking castle of Trelleborg, the play park of Gerlev and several castles that formed part of Hans Christian Andersen's life. A visit to Birkegårdens Haver is also recommended, here there is a garden area of 28,000 m² with over 1000 different flowers.
